Flights to Santiago

Santiago is part of the leeward islands of Cape Verde. The capital of Cape Verde is located on Santiago: Praia. The capital is a lively city built on different plateaus. Santiago is the most veried island of the Cape Verde archipelago. Here you also have the most African atmosphere of the islands. In the interior of Santiago you have green mountains and fertile valleys. And on the coast you can still find charming old villages. This island has something to offer for every traveler.

Flying to Santiago

Santiago Mandela International Airport (RAI) is located at Santiago. From abroad there are direct flights to Santiago Airport on a frequent basis. The flights are operated by major and well-known airlines. With a direct flight you are within 6 to 7 hours on Santiago and you can enjoy a wonderful subtropical environment. Santiago is therefore easy to reach and suits itself perfectly for a shorter holiday. Check out our handy survey with airlines offering flights to Cape Verde and Santiago. This saves a lot of time comparing flight tickets.

Domestic flights Santiago

Domestic flights can also easily be booked to and from Santiago airport. Flying between the islands is relatively quick and cheap. Because of the central location of Santiago you can fly directly to most other Cape Verde islands. For example, you can fly within 15 minutes to the neighbor island of Maio (MMO). Or in 30 minutes to the other neighbor island Fogo (SFL). And at 45 minutes flight distance you are on the island of Sal (SID). You can reserve plane tickets online in advance, so you know that you have at least a place. In the article about domestic flights Cape Verde you can find even more specific information.
