Flights to Brava

Brava is part of the leeward islands of Cape Verde. This island is the smallest, greenest and the most mysterious island of the Cape Verde archipelago. The tourist activities on this island are minimal, making it ideal for travelers who want to recover from today’s hectic. On Brava you can walk well and enjoy the unique flora and fauna. Brava is not called the island of flowers for nothing.

Flying to Brava

You can not fly to Brava. You can only come to Brava by taking the ferry from the island of Santiago or the neighboring island of Fogo. The crossing to Brava can be heavy due to the strong current at sea. Santiago Mandela International Airport (RAI) is located on the island of Santiago. When you arrive at Santiago you can take the ferry from here to Brava (long trip). Or you take a domestic flight to the neighboring island of Fogo (airport Sao Filipe Airport), and then take the ferry to Brava.

The international flights to the island of Santiago are carried out by major and well-known airlines. With a direct flight you are in Cape Verde within 6 to 7 hours. Check out our handy survey of airlines offering flights to Cape Verde and Santiago. This saves a lot of time comparing flight tickets.
