      Hello Peter,

Great that you are planning to visit Cape Verde. We love your way of enjoying your holiday. Your question about which island to visit is one of the hardest questions we often get. Every island is different and everyone likes different things. If possible, consider to visit at least 2 different types of islands to get most out of it. You can check the information per island and make your own decision if it is worth visting for you or not.

I’ve stayed several times in Riu Funana Hotel, just outside Santa Maria on Island of Sal.
Extra space rooms available for equipment we need. Swimming pool is accessible too.
All waiter/waitresses can’t do enough to accommodate our needs.
      So I’d recommend here.

Will there be a lot of cloud if we visit in July? We are a family that like to spend time around the pool all day and enjoy the heat and sunshine.

Myself and a friend are looking to stay in Santa Maria on the island of Sal in Cape Verde from the 30th March to 6th April. At this time of year, should it be mainly cloudy or should there be a lot of sunshine? What is the average daily maximum temperature?

    Thank you 🙂

Thank you for your question. Unfortuntely this is pretty hard to answer as it depends on your personal interests / possibilities. Do you already have an island in mind you would like to visit?
