Fogo is part of the leeward islands of Cape Verde. The island is dominated by some volcanoes and is named after the still active Fogo volcano. Fogo is the airport Sao Filipe Airport (SFL). There are no international aircraft on the island of Fogo. Domestic flights can also easily be booked to and from Fogo airport. Flying between the islands is relatively quick and cheap. If you fly to or from Fogo, you always make a stopover on the island of Santiago (RAI). From Santiago it is only a 30 minute flight to Fogo.
