Since 2019 European citizens extempt from visa for visiting the Cape Verde islands for stays of up to 30 days. Visa free travel to Cape Verde has been extended since 2019 for travelers from 28 EU countries, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein. With this change, the Cape Verdean government wants to make it easier to visit the Cape Verde islands. For a stay in Cape Verde your passport should be valid for a minimum period of 6 months from the date of entry into Cape Verde. Visited CV on 28 Nov,18 with Thomas Cook, Visa given free by tour operator. On arrival made to pay €25 for entry.. returning again o 6th Feb,19 and told that UK is Visa free travel.! Is this true..?
Who can confirm this.. so on arrival dont have to quee again for 2 hours. All websites say NO you dont have to pay for visa from EU but on arrival they make you pay.!! Clarity needed.!
