Visa free travel for EU citizens to Cape Verde

Since 2019 European citizens extempt from visa for visiting the Cape Verde islands for stays of up to 30 days. Visa free travel to Cape Verde has been extended since 2019 for travelers from 28 EU countries, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein. With this change, the Cape Verdean government wants to make it easier to visit the Cape Verde islands. Countries visa free travel to Cape Verde

Citizens of the following countries and areas can visit Cape Verde for a short visit (maximum 30 days) without a visa. Always check the latest information before departure.

For a stay in Cape Verde your passport should be valid for a minimum period of 6 months from the date of entry into Cape Verde. Furthermore, you should register with the Cape Verde authorities via an online platform. When arriving by air – in most cases – you have to pay a security fee (Airport Security Fee – TSA).     Hello I am from Cameroon and I am Cameroonian passport holder . do I need visa to visit cap Verde ? Can I get arrival visa ? I intend to visit the end of November for 10 days . I am actually in Ghana knowing Ghana don’t have the ambassy of cap verde. I want to going from Ghana to cap verde

      As a Cameroonian passport holder you need indeed a tourist visa. You can apply for it upon arrival at one of the interational airports of Cape Verde.
