      Hi Lydia,

What kind of nightlife are you looking for? And which island(s) are you considering to visit? This is crucial, as the islands are very divers.

Hi! We are planning to visit Cape Verde-Sal on our honeymoon in September, probably for two weeks 9/14/19 — 9/28/19. We are actually worried about the rain – I’ve read that September is the wettest month there, so does it rain a lot on these days? Or only the slight drops?

    Thank you!!

      Hello Arune,

September is one of the hottest months of the year. The tropical climate ensures that rain falls in September. In this month you can expect the most rain, especially in the beginning of the month. However, the amount can not be compared (it is less) with countries in for example West Europe (UK). If rain falls, these are often strong showers. The rain clouds often do not cover the entire country, so there is enough opportunity to enjoy the sun.

      Hello Dean,

If I understand you correctly, you want to visit Boavista or Sal (Santa Maria)? What are you looking for?

Early November you can expect a constant maximmum temperature around 29 degrees Celsius and (almost) no rain. Thus, a great month to visit the islands.

      Hello Omar,

Flight ticket prices significantly differ between airlines and location of departure. In general, prices are the ‘highest’ around Christmas, New Year and Carnival.
